Silver Cuff with Erigeron Daisies 

A sculptural, one-of-a-kind silver cuff featuring Erigeron daisy flowers, created entirely by hand using traditional chasing and repoussé techniques. The design is formed slowly and patiently in pitch: first working from the back to sink the recesses, then flipping the metal to refine every petal, stem and curve from the front. After hours of detailed shaping, the silver is  removed from the pitch, cleaned, and formed into a beautifully fitting cuff.

This wide, organic form has been shaped to sit comfortably at the natural junction of the wrist and hand, making it surprisingly easy and very comfortable to wear despite its sculptural presence. At its widest point the cuff measures approximately 5cm.

A true labour of love, this piece takes many hours to make — each mark struck by hand, each flower emerging slowly from the silver. A wearable artwork.
