Silver and enamel brooch.

Solid silver enamelled piece in a solid silver setting with a double pin. Pin steel. 

5.00cm x 4.00cm 

This brooch was made by chasing the silver surface to make inditations into the silver surface. These were then wet packed with several shades of aqua blue enamel and then fored in a kiln. the enamel was then stoned back with diamond grit papers so the enamel is flush with the surface.  the front of the piece was oxides which gave the non-enamelled a dark antiqued looking finish.

The back features a souble pin for added security. The pin is made of steel so it keeps its spring.
