Thistle Brooch - Enamelled Silver Brooch With Pink Tourmaline Gemstone.

This brooch has an enamelled thistle design inlaid into the surface of the silver. The surrounding silver has been oxidised giving it a dark antique appearance that contrast well with the enamel. There is a beautiful pink toumaline gem dropping from the main piece.

The enamelled silver oval measures 3.5 x 3.0cm and it is set on a silver frame. The pink tourmaline pear shaped stone hanging from the bottom, the tourmaline measures 18.0 x 8.0mm. From the top of the brooch to the bottom of the stone measures 6.5cm. 

The catch on the back has a double pin so it is very secure. The pin is made from steel so that it keeps its spring.
