Silver Lily Brooch with Green Gemstone Bud

This Beautiful big silver brooch is a design of a lily flower with a carved green quartz stone set as one of the buds. This brooch has been hammered out of a flat piece of silver using chasing and repousse techniques. From the back of the brooch you can see the way that the design is hammered from one sheet of silver. There is a silver frame attached onto the back to which the pin finding has been soldered. 

The pin on the back is a double pin for security. It is completely hand-made and the pin part is made from steel so that the spring is maintained.  

Part of the front of the brooch has been oxidised so that the lily flower relief stands out. There are three buds as well as the lily flower and one of the buds is made up of a carved green quartz stone.

The brooch measures 10cm x 6.5cm at its widest points.
