This gorgeous statement flower brooch is made from solid sterling silver. The design has been indented into the silver by hammering each mark individually into the surface with a chasing tool and a hammer. The resulting surface appears facetted and it catches the light giving it a sparky appearance. The shape was then cut out by hand with a jeweller's piercing saw.

The central oval natural aquamarine stone measures approx 16 x 10mm and is set in a petal edged bezel setting.

The brooch measures approx. 5 x 4 cm and is 1.2mm thick. The catch on the back is hand-made and features a double clasp for extra security. The brooch has been hallmarked at the London Assay Office and bears the maker's mark (CNP).

Use this brooch as an eye-catching piece to dress up a coat, jacket, cardi or plain dress.
