Silver Dahlia Necklace with Enamel Drop

This special necklace features a central flower that was inspired by dahlias grown in my garden. The flower has petal markings on it that were made by the technique of chasing - hitting a tiny chisel-like tool into the surface of the silver repeatedly to get the pattern. The silver flower measures 3.6cm at its widest point.  

The flower has an enamelled silver light blue drop hanging from it. The enamel drop is 4cm long. The chain is made up from hand made links and has a hand made hook style catch. The chain is approx. 42cm long.
