All About the Dome - This term's theme
You will discover how to use your doming block beyond just making a shallow concave shape. There will be technical excercises, set projects and ideas to spark off your imagination.
There will be projects for all levels of experience, from very simple quick makes that will be completed during the session to the more challenging that may require extra time during the week.
Live online Zoom sessions
2 hour live zoom sessions every week 7.00pm - 9.00pm
Optional WhatsApp group to share your creations and to ask questions. Additonal email support if needed.
The number of participants will be limited so there will be plenty of individual attention.
This is for people who have their own tools at home.
Each week you be shown a new project that will in some way use a doming block or punch.
You will also have time to work on your own projects and will be supported to progress with them.
The sessions will be a mix of whole class demonstrations and discussions with pre-recorded videos and live demonstrations. There will also be small group work where you will have the opportunity to chat and be sociable with the others in the group.
You will need your own tools to work at home, please ask for a list if you have not already attended an online class.

Online Classes - Here's what some online students had to say about the courses:
'It’s great to be able to still do something creative under this difficult situation being stuck at home. Signing onto the course gives you focus and an aim to have finished products'.
'An enjoyable course for those already familiar with basic jewellery making. It enabled me to expand my knowledge of silver jewellery techniques through a range of real time projects that I could use and adapt for jewellery making at home with limited equipment'.
'Really enjoyed trying new techniques at home with the limitations that it presents and creating some lovely jewellery items'.
